The Land Registry has shared a guide to warn people about "land banking" schemes. These are investments where a landowner divides their land into small plots to sell. They often claim these plots are a good investment, usually falsely suggesting the land might be developed in the future. An example of this was in Bryants Bottom. The guide can be found HERE.
