Local Shop Services and Supermarket Opening Times for Vulnerable People
The links below will take you to two files. One file indicates the times that each supermarket is dedicating to allow vulnerable and elderly people to do their shopping. This does not apply to those that have been classified as "extremely vulnerable" by the government. Those people should not go shopping and should be given priority by the supermarkets for home deliveries.
The second file shows local shopping alternatives offering "phone and collect" or home deliveries. These files will be updated as things change.
Hughenden Valley Community Shop
There is now an email form which the shop would prefer you to use when emailing. Please ensure that you include your full postal address and contact telephone number. When your email or phone order is ready, a member of the team will call you for payment and arrange a delivery (or for you to collect later).
They still also welcome phone orders on 01494 568653.

and the Shopping Order Form here.
Please remember that they might not always have everything on your list, but they will do their best to fulfil as much of the order as possible and they are having deliveries daily, so you can always try again the next day. If their phone lines are busy, please keep trying!
(The packers and delivery drivers wear gloves. Their delivery team will knock/ring and leave your shopping on your doorstep).
