Buckinghamshire Council Links

This page provides links to the latest information supplied by the new Buckinghamshire Council.  The new council is an amalgamation of Aylesbury Vale District Council, Buckinghamshire County Council, Chiltern District Council, South Bucks District Council and Wycombe District Council.  The new council is responsible for all the activities of the previous councils including transport, education, planning, health and social care, waste disposal, the environment etc.  Parish and Town Councils will be the only other councils to remain in Bucks as separate entities.  Hughenden Parish Council will continue as our local parish council taking care of such things as allotments, open spaces, Four Ashes Garden of Rest, grass verge and hedge cutting within 30mph speed zones, bus shelters, dog waste bins, certain playgrounds etc.  They will also liaise on your behalf with Buckinghamshire Council concerning issues that are of concern to local residents.
